We heard a lot of talk about Arsenal and the quadruple and then the treble, but after Southampton nicked a FA Cup quarter-final win Saturday, a lot of nervous Gooners are fretting about even a single trophy.
I never truly entertained winning multiple trophies. but genuinely felt the Gunners needed a win against Southampton, to get their heads right, having had a long international break to dwell on their Carabao Cup Final loss.
Now it must be all about the Premier League title. We would be thrilled to win the Champions League, but I honestly think Arsenal’s season will be judged by whether or not we win the Premiership.
Not to look past tomorrow, but Saturday will be our last 4:30 am kickoff of the season, and your last chance to cement your legend status.
