Our loss to Man City last weekend, followed by their win over Burnley, puts them top of the table, by virtue of goals scored. Now Arsenal must win all 5 of their remaining matches, while adding to the goals total, or hope that City drop points in theirs. Looking like this will go down to the wire.
So much of the nonsense about Arsenal being “bottlers” has come from supporters of clubs that sit below us in the table. These numpties lack the self-awareness to realize their team’s position renders their opinions meaningless.
But as Declan Rice declared immediately following last Sunday’s match, “It’s not over”, and we’re backing the lads to the very end.
